A beautiful apartment ideal for people who are looking for a special spot. The location is central and adjacent to one of the nicest squares in Amsterdam, close to the famous “Jordaan” district.
You can easily walk to Anne Frank’s House (15 minutes), the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum (both just 20 minutes). Close by, you will find plenty of nice shops and supermarkets.
Your hostess can inform you about special shops in the area.
There are a lot of international restaurants nearby. The ‘nine streets’ – a renowned shopping area in the Jordaan – is also very close to the Art Apartment.
Our recently renovated apartment is very luxurious, has its own entrance and stairs and is located one floor above street level. It is double-glazed, so you won’t be kept awake by the traffic.

The living room is on the street side and has a small balcony. It is fitted with design furniture and works of art we collected on our travels to Asia. There is a table with four chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner. The sofa bed has a high-quality mattress. You can easily change this 3-seater couch into a double bed. |

On the walls are paintings by Robert Uterwijk, whose studio is adjacent to the apartment.

The bedroom has a romantic and oriental ambiance. The walls are decorated with birds inspired by ancient Chinese bronzes (see our logo). The three colourful Vietnamese lamps evoke a wonderful mood. You can sleep on a comfortable box-spring mattress 140 by 200 centimetres. |

The bathroom is decorated with beautiful tiles. It has floor heating, a wash basin and a luxury shower. |

From the kitchen (on the garden side) you have a lovely view of the gardens. The kitchen has all modern conveniences including a gas plate with 5 rings, a microwave oven, a fridge/freezer and a coffee machine. Tea and coffee are available.
